TRIMS - Antique and Vintage Trims Collection

Trims add that Special Touch to so many different projects.  We have several different Trims to choose from.  

The Trims in this category are from my own collection, I started in 1979.  It all started with a garage sale in my small hometown, and two little old ladies, downsizing their collection. My sister JB and I went to their garage sale and struck up a conversation with them over an old Electrolux vacuum they were selling.  That led to them taking us into their house where they pulled out a huge plastic tub of vintage/antique trims they had been collecting over the years.  They were downsizing, and although they didn't want to part with them, they felt we would take good care of them and make good use of them. Well, things have come full circle, and it's time for this old lady to downsize her collection.

These Antique and Vintage Trims were acquired by myself and the gals I purchased the bulk of them from, between 1960 and 1985.  They have been stored away safely in a plastic tub the majority of their stay with me.  Many of the older ones, I used on my handmade dolls over the years.  A lot of these have been salvaged from pillows and garments, or handmade dresser scarves.

There are reproductions on the market of some of these, but I can guarantee these are all Antique and Vintage Trims.  I will note any blemishes and have done my best to photograph any flaws, which are few and far between.  For the most part, there are only a couple of these trims that are imperfect.
