Measures 7" wide by 4.5" tall. Fashioned out of our Hand-dyed Velvet, this remake of a vintage antique style pincushion is a great tool to have at your side when stitching your sewing projects.
The velvet is a deep brown/black. The photos really do not do it justice. It is stuffed with wool clippings, which is a natural needle/pin sharpener. I gathered our hand-dyed ribbon into a ruched bobble, for lack of a better term, and stitched it to the top of the pincushion. In the center of my bobble...is an antique hand-carved bone button. There is a patch of fabric from the 1800's on one of the sections of the Amish Star pincushion.
