"Turkey Lurkey", Wall Hanging or Table Mat
Designed by Maggie Bonanomi
Handmade by Laura Hakes, only one available.
Measures 13" wide by 13" tall. The background and applique is Blackberry Primitives Hand-dyed Wool. The backing is a beautiful deep brown mill-dyed wool, that I have brought around front to "frame" the piece. He is a colorful Turkey, foraging for acorns, to store away for the Winter months ahead. I have a Turkey Lurkey of my own, that I have hung with an antique hanger. He watches over our Holiday Table, hoping for a few scraps of "beef" or "pork"! LOL
