Santa Stops Here Pattern by Brenda Gervais

A small Christmas project inspired by seven small villages of German heritage in Brenda's home state known as The Amana Colonies.  Brenda notes, when you pass down the streets of these villages, you quickly note that the businesses, many of which are brick structures, have simple black signs with white lettering for their business signage. 

This piece features the Candy Haus (German for House), it's the imaginary place where Santa stops off to shop for candy canes to tuck in the stockings of good boys and girls. 

Stitch count - 169 wide X 113 high. 

Finished size - 9 3/8" x 6 1/4".  Worked on 36 count linen, using DMC and hand-dyed flosses.
