"Mrs. Pumpkin" features Mrs. Pumpkin Woman, all decked out in her best dress, apron, and beautiful shawl, sporting her favorite hat, holding a basket, in which her favorite black cat resides, holding a beautiful black-eyed susan she just received from Mr. Pumpkin (see our Mr. Pumpkin pattern also on our web site). This pattern offers two ways to finish off this design, and includes instructions for both. You can finish your "Mrs. Pumpkin" into a doll shape, which can be mounted onto an old oil can, onto an old spool, etc. This design features a black-eyed susan sprouting out of her hat, connected with a piece of rusty wire. Just think outside the box and I am sure you will come up with a unique way to display her. The pattern also offers instructions and a separate design, for a framed in Mrs. Pumpkin with a background full of beautiful black-eyed susans, dancing in the summer sky. You can make her into a pincushion, you could frame her, or leave her as is for a small table mat. The possibilities are endless! You will receive the design template, a piece of weaver's cloth for you to trace the design onto, as well as instructions and a color chart. This pattern includes instructions and design charts for each separate design. There is one color chart, which notes the flosses and what areas they are used in. You will be able to decipher which are needed for which designs. The weaver's cloth included is large enough to do both designs.
