The tree skirt backing and wedge pattern are full size on map paper and the directions contain a lot of black and white photos and illustrations for extra help.

Finished measurement is 48" across.
The designer has segmented the appliquéd pieces into easily managed "pie shaped" pieces that get sewn to the backing once complete. She used wool felt to make the model in the photo, but you could also use wool.
The pattern includes full size pattern pieces and complete instructions.
