A sampler honoring the needleworker! A petite and delicate sampler with tightly spaced small motifs, and meandering borders. The piece is finished off with the verse, "all my scattering moments are taken up with my needle".
The design is worked on 40 count Doubloon linen over 2 threads, using 1 strand of floss. Stitch count - 146 wide x 242 high. Size - 7 1/4" x 12".
