"Homeplace at Christmas" ~ designed and stitched in 2006, released in 2007 and now fully re-charted and newly released for 2020!!
This Original model shown was stitched in 2006...
by Lori's dear Mom: Elda Elizabeth Geiste Smith ~
She stitched this using two strands of thread, on 18ct white Aida cloth,
which was severely overstained with tea & coffee dye.
It was then finished it into a pillow stuffed with whole cloves, scraps of cotton & bits of wool, crushed star anise, dried orange peel and dried pine needles saved from many of our family Christmas trees!
